Ram vehicle history
A Ram 1500 can be a one-owner highway truck or a fleet unit with a hemi tick. The report is the ownership, accident, and engine-repair file behind the brochure.

The file
Ram trucks hold value, and the 5.7 Hemi is both loved and known for lifter and exhaust-manifold problems. Read the service section and the owner list before you treat a shiny 1500 as maintained.
Enter the VIN or the plate. You get ownership, accidents, service records that shops and DMVs filed, title brands, odometer checks, open recalls, and a theft screen. If a source has nothing, the report says so.
Already own it and need a drivetrain part? Shop Ram parts.
Models
The lookup is the same. The reason you run it changes with the model.
Hemi lifters, air suspension, and fleet use.
Work truck. Miles, accidents, and how it was used.
Commercial duty. Owner type matters as much as the engine.
Van life and delivery fleets. Service gaps are common.
Buying guide
Documented Hemi repairs
A lifter or cam job that is finished, with oil changes after it, is a clearer 1500 than a tick the seller idles over.
Air suspension that has been touched
Some 1500s have rear air. A compressor or bag in the file, then a quiet period, is better than a sag nobody mentioned.
One commercial owner with records
A fleet truck with invoices can be a better buy than a private truck with none. The file is the difference.
Tick and a recent owner change
Hemi lifter failure often ends in a sale. A two-month owner is a reason to hear the engine cold.
Manifold repairs over and over
Broken exhaust-manifold bolts are common. Repeat visits mean the job was not finished, or the other side is next.
ProMaster with delivery-fleet miles and no brakes
City vans eat brakes and transmissions. A blank service file at 90,000 miles is the expensive version.
Read the file in this order.
Known issues
These are patterns buyers run into. They are not a verdict on every car. The report shows what was filed. A shop still has to see the rest.
Many 5.7 Hemi engines, especially with cylinder deactivation, wipe a lifter and a cam lobe.
Broken bolts cause a ticking leak on acceleration, often on one bank.
Some Rams shudder from the transmission or sag from the air suspension.
How it works
01
The VIN is on the dash (driver’s side), the driver’s door jamb, or the title. A plate works with the state that issued it.
02
One report, a pack of five, or a monthly plan for dealers. We confirm the vehicle and send a secure payment link.
03
The report lands by email and stays online so you can review, download, or print it while you’re standing next to the car.

When a dealer or shop reported the engine repair, yes. A truck that is ticking and unsold will not have that line yet.
Look at owner names and types, how long each kept it, and whether it moved through auctions. Fleet use is usually visible.
Yes. The report follows the VIN, gas or diesel. Cummins maintenance still has to be judged from the service lines and a shop inspection.
